Improve Your Speed

Improve your speed with this body weight workout today focusing on fast twitch muscle fibers and power movements. Once your finished with the squats, your heart rate will be racing and your metabolism full speed ahead!

Warm up: jog 1200 meters (or 3 laps around track)

Workout:

Exercise 1: 5 x100 yard Sprints

Exercise 2: 20 Jumping Squats
Take 30 seconds rest and repeat 10 times.

Exercise 3: Planks front x 3 for 30 seconds each, Left Side x 3 for 30 seconds, Right Side 3x 30 seconds.

With frequent intense interval training and workouts, next time you go for a run, you will see your improved speed and endurance. Have a great workout -- and don’t quit!
