He was selected by the same publication as one of the top 30 executives under the age of 30 in the Valley. In that same year, Joe was chosen as 1 of 50 from a pool of 1,000 applicants, and the youngest to participate in the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) “Birthing of Giants” Program. Joe sold his interest in the business in 1995 to a valley-based firm who took the chain public.
While building a fast growing business, Joe managed and secured many major contracts with large corporations in the Valley. He oversaw the purchasing of all equipment and apparel, as well as obtained a solid customer base of well over 50,000 through innovative marketing techniques, solid sales management and exemplary customer service.

Dear Joe:
Hi Joe, you know me (may be not by name), been in the club over 3 years now, and I already paid for another 3 years membership. The only reason I join the club is the Broadway Dance group classes. Unfortunately, something real bad this evening, June 7, I’ve being mistreated by the instructor: Gino. Which I will file a complain if necessary, I need to talk to someone who will listen and settle this matter. This is not the first time he acted like that, it reaches the point I won’t take it anymore. My email: evym2k@aol.com My Home: 408-356-1315, and Cell: 408-679-8976. Please, help me out, so that I won’t have to do it in other method, thank you and awaiting the respond in unticipation.
Regards
Evy

The Youthful Look of Shoulders
The next time you are in the gym, pick out two men of equal arm size and fitness level — one older and one younger. If their biceps and triceps are of matching size, notice that the deltoids of the older athlete will be about 2/3rds the size of the youth’s. A teenager can have natural coconut deltoids, but as we go through life there are few things we lift overhead. Compared to other muscles, deltoids wain over time. So, if you wish to retain a youthful look emphasize those shoulders.

Joe,
I have been a member of your club for over three years now and the main reason I joined was for the great kickboxing classes with great and professional instructors. There were lots of classes (6-8 per week) Monday through Thursday back to back classes from 6pm to 8pm and early morning classes 3 days per week. Now there is only 2 classes that work for my schedule and it is more MMA than kickboxing. I have doing kickboxing since Rudy was teaching and I paid over $100 and it was well worth it at that time.
Then Ricky and Charlie came in, the classes went down in size, and my payment was lowered to $60. After they left the instructors were not consistent and often did not show up to teach the class, often the equipment was broken, and I wanted to cancel my membership. However for the last year and a half the staff has been promising that when the new MMA gym opened I would be grandfathered in on price as long as I didn’t cancel my membership. To confirm that was true I asked multiple times to make sure that was still true and kept being reassured that it was. Now Brian has told me it is a whole different gym (Are you not the owner any longer) that he needs $99 on the first day I went to class and the teacher did not even show up. So I worked out with another student and when I went to kick the bag the bag fell down. This is not an uncommon occurrence. When I tried to use the cage and equipment we were told we were not allowed in there and that it was only for fighting events. Brian has been nothing but rude and no one has seemed to remember the promises that were made to me. Every time I ask about other members getting special deals, free months, etc nobody wants to work out any deals with me after I have been promised for well over a year that I would be given the same price. I am being treated worse than any of the new customers at your gym. I drive to your gym specifically for the kickboxing and it is not about the money as I have driven further for the right classes. I don’t understand how they can command $100 for a class when I have only had 1 class with an instructor and I have been badgered by Brian every time I have come into his area asking for money. I know you have alot of new employees and when they don’t know you they treat you like you don’t belong. I was going to freeze my account but I was told by Ray today after trying out the one class that I have to pay $100 because you will not honor my contract. He knows of no deals being offered to anyone else (He is the manager right) he should know what people pay and they do not all pay the same. So I told him today that I would just cancel my membership apparently the money I pay is not good enough. I have brought many people to your gym and have been a big promotor of your classes. I currently have other gym memberships as well and have never been treated so poorly anywhere. I hope there is something you can do to work out a fair deal if not I will have to follow through with the cancellation. If at some point you decide to have a separate fee for kickboxing there is alot of people interested as long as we are treated with respect and not made to feel that we don’t belong.
